ARGENTIwas conceived from Stefania’s love, passion and respect for the rich artisanal tradition of Italy, where she was born and raised. She established a community of highly experienced artisans between Florence and Milan where each stage of the making process is meticulously executed and overseen. Crafted by the most skillful hands, PRAMMA focuses on the fundamentals of refined handbag design: elegance, purity and longevity. Combining classic design principles with subtle shapes and gentle detailing, Pramma bags unite superb craft, graphic simplicity and understated femininity.
Each piece asserts its own personality through the addition of idiosyncratic hardware: abstract designs that take inspiration from jewellery. These embellishments, individually handcrafted in Florence, employ semi-precious stones such as amethyst, tiger’s eye, lapis lazuli and malachite showcased in richly plated settings of yellow and rose gold, palladium and dark ruthenium. Less abstract motifs include a family of beloved pets: Topper, the dachshund; Ladienne, the poodle; Edgar, the French bulldog; Marie, the yorkie and Noelle, the black cat – all hand-carved and cast in minute detail.
PRAMMA’s charm lies in its level of detail – both covert and overt. Each piece has a discreet functionality, from specially designed clasps that ensure security – to diminutive feet that protect the base of each bag ensuring an elegant posture, no matter where it sits.
